There is a small chance that the CD Skeg Control Tube can be used as a substitute for the plastic tube that came with this kit.

For Dagger Alchemy, Perception Essence, Wilderness Systems Tempest and Zephyr circa 2010 and up 2015. Best used for Confluence brand kayaks but might be used on other kayaks with a similar system. Each kit comes with a pre-measured skeg 7×7 cable and poly tube, pre-fitted with swage and shrink tube, a skeg control stiffener and directions. All the commonly needed repair parts for kayaks 2011-2015 are included.  See all skeg parts compatible with post 2011 Confluence skeg systems.

The skeg control stiffener tube is 7 7/8 inches long, 5/16 OD and 5/32 ID.

This skeg system style was phased out by Confluence Water Sports. They have discontinued all the skeg repair kits.
