Pompano Seat Back Kit

Upgrade your West Marine Pompano with original seat parts! The way it was originally designed to be outfitted. For use with the Pompano sit-on-top kayak circa 2012 to date. West Marine does not include this seat back nor stocks this seat back assembly as an aftermarket kit. The Pompano is a Wilderness Systems Tarpon sit-on kayak, same as the Perception Search sit-on-top and also same as the Perception Sport Pescadore, all made by Confluence Watersports. This kit is the original Tarpon Seat Back Assembly, aka Comfort Seating System (CSS) Seat Back support, also fits some Wilderness Systems Ride135, middle version, circa 2007.

Seat back is a rigid, hollow plastic seat back support (pn 18500557) Seat is 13 inches wide by 12 inches tall from pivot point in base. Comes with CSS seat back pad, adjustment straps, bungee-hooks and the Tarpon Seat Clip with mounting hardware (photos not to scale).

Easy to install! Drill one hole for the seat clip screw. The rubber back washer (inside) seals against water. Tighten the nut with a wrench through open rear hatch. Secure side straps with handle screws that are already on your kayak. Leave pull rings free. Bungee hooks clip behind seat. All original parts.
