Kajak Sport Navigator Rudder (Bayonet Pin)

Kajak Sport brand Navigator Rudder Assembly, with Bayonet Pin, a kind of top mount blade housing that installs on kayaks with a rudder pivot hole located on a flat or stepped down area on the rear deck. The bayonet pin locks inside the pivot hole with a twisting motion during insertion and removal.

The pin is 42 mm long, 1.65 inches (we measure as 1 – 13/16 x 3/8 inches) and fits into a hole molded on deck, or into the Kajak Sport rudder sleeve (by special order). The entire rudder assembly is 500 mm long (19.68 inches). See the Kajak Sport Rudder Instructions.

Rudder Assembly Includes: Rudder head part, rocker part, blade, lift-up rope, rope guides, bungee, locking knob mechanism, rope stopper and mounting parts.

A Navigator Rudder with a longer 600 mm rudder blade, applicable to tandem kayaks, is available by special order.
