CSS Padded Seatback Cover

Replacement seat back cover for Wilderness Systems kayaks such as the Tarpon and Pamlico, some Perception kayaks, and Mad River Adventure canoes (all Confluence brands). May fit other kayaks with a similar seat. Also known as Phase3 Lite Outfitting (pn 9800060) sometimes printed with the W logo. Fits Tarpon kayaks with rounded seat back. Use the Tour Backrest Pad for Tarpons with squared seat back.

This seat back pad is an acceptable replacement option for All years of Phase 3 Seats both sit-IN and sit-ON kayaks. For the best results, untie the draw string cord and arrange around the seat back base.

Older versions of the Phase 3 Seat Back Cover have been discontinued. This is an acceptable fit for the 1st Generation Phase3 Seat Back Cover and the 2nd Generation Phase3 Seat Back Cover, that both fit the Phase 3 Seat Back Structure common on many Wilderness Systems brand kayaks outfitted with Phase3 seating, circa 2002 to 2012. (Older version seat back structure did not have Swiss cheese holes). 1st Gen Phase 3 Seat Back Pad part number was 7900-0000, circa 2002 to 2005. 2nd Gen part numbers 7900-0041 and 9800021, circa 2006 to 2012. This CSS seat back pad comes with with a full draw-string same as the rear side of the 2nd-Gen Seat Back Cover. (1st-Gen Phase3 had an elastic fabric back.) This CSS Seat Back Pad is 13 in. wide by 10.5 in. high, oval, and will fit onto seat backs of approximately the same dimensions. (aka 17040124) CSSOUT
