It is assumed that this seat may fit some kayaks approximately 25 to 31 inches wide. A center bar on the floor of your kayak may prevent use of this seat. The ACS 2.0 Wide Seat appears to be used in the Old Town Loon, and Camden kayaks. This seat should be a good fit to the Necky Manitou Sport.

This seat is best used a replacement seat for kayaks that were originally outfitted with ACS 2.0 Wide seats. It is unknown if this seat will fit the vast majority of early model Old Town kayaks, Necky kayaks or any other make and model of kayak. The ACS 2.0 Wide seat is likely too large for skinny sea kayaks. The ACS 2.0 seat is not the same as original Active Comfort System Seat or the Extrasport Xtra Comfort seat but expected to fit into most kayaks that were originally outfitted with such. This ACS 2.0 Wide Seat is NOT a good fit for Old Town Dirigo. The original ACS seats and the EXC seats are both discontinued by Johnson Watercraft; Necky and Old Town.

While this seat might possibly be used in some other makes and models of kayak, it will certainly not fit all kayaks. The only way to know for sure is to read this page carefully, make a guess and get one to try it in your kayak. (See Shop Policy and FAQ, link upper left for return info.)

ACS 2.0 Seat Dimensions: 24 inches from side to side maximum width. Each of the 2 seat post have pairs of screw holes 3 inches on center. The distance from side to side across the seat from the center of the right seat posts screws to the left screws is approximately 23 3/4 inches, with some degree of wiggle room.
